The guest house is located in a quiet and cozy location in Douro Alta with beautiful views of the vineyards. The room hfs large panoramic winbdows , private balcony overlooking the pool and courtyard. The room is made of natural materials , spacious, high celling, lot of air. We really like the design and comfort of the room. Very much appreciated hospitality, friendliness and attention of the owner Jose. I recommend this guest house!
The location was nice. Beautifully rural yet very close to cute village of Armamar where there are stores and cafes. We took a nice walk through the vineyard. Gorgeous vistas everywhere! The pool was essential since it was dreadfully hot. It was clean and refreshing. We loved the fresh rolls, croissant and orange juice for breakfast. Jose was a pleasure to talk to and provided us with all we needed. Room was clean, comfortable and the air con was great. Would return.

We had a wonderful stay at José and Anabela's property in Armamar. The hosts were incredibly nice, responsive, and always willing to help. The property itself was private and offered a peaceful retreat. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.

Beautiful place, super clean, super charming. Very easy to communicate with host. Location is great to drive to many vineyards between Regua and Pinhao. We loved our walks through the family vineyard right at the airbnb location.
